Funeral services for Mrs. Wuanita Ann Rogers, 87, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday, November 3rd at 1pm from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 pm until 7 pm and Tuesday from 12pm until service at the funeral home. Mrs. Rogers died Thursday October 29, 2014 at Bethesda Health Care Center. She was born November 1, 1927 in St. Johns, MI to the late Vern and Agnes Ann Viges. Mrs. Rogers worked as a housekeeper. She loved spending time outside, working in her flower gardens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Opal Ide and Sheila Bernard. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ezell Rogers; son, Galye Foreman; daughter, Karen McGee of Lansing, MI; grandchildren, Benjy and London Bernard and Tim and Jacob Ide; twin brother, Walter (Barbara) Viges of St. Johns, MI; sisters, June Erickson of Glendale, AZ and Donna Wolle of Milwaukee,WI; and by step-children, Merry Hileman, Mollie Loveall, Becky Gager, Jody Holtz and Susies Thayer, Jerry Baker, Tyson Baker, TJ Rogers, Ross Loveall, Timothy Thayer and Jim Holtz will serve as pallbearers.
