A Celebration of Life gathering for Mr. Theodore (Ted) Perry Sizemore, 88, of the Cumberland Cove Community will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, February 24 at Cumberland Cove Welcome Center. Mr. Sizemore died Monday, February 13, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was born March 31, 1923 to the late William Perry and Zoe McNeil Sizemore. Mr. Sizemore was a World War II veteran having served in the Army Air Corp as a navigator. He flew several combat missions over Germany. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and Master"�s Degree from Northwestern University in Mathematical Physics. Mr. Sizemore was retired as a commercial illustrator. His love for art carried on after retirement. He was an award winning water colorist and member of the Art Guild of Fairfield Glade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Jo Sizemore. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Valerie Mary Sizemore of Cumberland Cove (whom he married October 28, 1967); and two cousins, Steve Dawson and his wife Shirley of The Villages, FL, and Tommy Lou Anderson of Deming, NM.
