Susan Flatt

Memorial services for Susan Delilah Flatt, age 74 of Cookeville, will be at 12 p.m. Monday March 13 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Jack "Hippie" Stoddart will officiate.

Her family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Susan passed away Thursday March 9, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 14, 1948 in Tullahoma, TN to the late Shelah Stone and Margaret Curlee Stone.

In 1977 Susan and her husband, Dr. Jerry Flatt, opened Flatt Veterinary Clinic in Cookeville where she worked as the office manager until her retirement.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette Bauer.

Susan is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dr. Jerry Flatt (they married December 28, 1971); two sons, Travis (Amanda Miller) Flatt and Lucas (Meredith) Flatt all of Cookeville; brother, SW (Carolyn) Stone of Tullahoma; and grandchildren, Ira Stone Flatt and Spencer Miller.
