Susan was preceded in death by her husband Anthony F. Casella, Sr., grandson Cory Casella, brother Jearol D. Wood, Jr., sister-in-law Joan Casella and brother-in-law Robert Casella. Susan is survived by children: Tami Casella Caudill of Boynton Beach, FL, Tina Casella Flannery of Rickman, TN, and Tony (Kim) Casella, Jr. of Otisville, NY, sisters: Enola Snelling of Paducah, KY, Wilma Young of Charlotte, TN and sister-in-law Karen Casella Ruh of Cornelius, NC, grandchildren: Brandon Caudill, Katie Flannery, Drew Flannery and Mason Casella, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She is also survived by Daisy Mae, the fur-baby whom she shared with her late husband, Tony. Susan loved being with family and cherished her titles as wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her ambition through life was to be the best at each one of those which she succeeded to the upmost. She was loved by all with her contagious smile and southern Tennessee accent, always having a kind word to say no matter the circumstance. In her working days, Susan was an office manager and loved working with numbers. With her love of taking care of people, once she retired, she was a caregiver to several people in the elderly community and had a special bond with each one of them. Susan was an active member of the Boynton and Delray Beach communities and Cason United Methodist church for many years, meeting so many people never leaving as a stranger. Her church involvements included: United Methodist Women, Pumpkin Patch coordinator, choir member, prayer and bible study groups and volunteer at Vacation Bible School. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She enjoyed being a participant in the “Come to Bethlehem” live nativity show and being the photographer for the Santa pictures. Her community involvements included decorating the 100 foot Christmas Tree, the Republican National committee and different social events throughout the city. When she was not volunteering for the church or the community, Susan loved being at home doing her crafts and diamond art while listening to her favorite singer, Elvis Presley. Her overnight guests always had the privilege of staying in the bedroom decorated entirely of Elvis and his memorabilia.
