Ruth Fowler

Funeral Services for Ruth Fowler, age 77, of Cookeville TN will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, April 28, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Fowler died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at NHC Health Care in Cookeville. Ruth was born September 9, 1934 in Putnam County TN to the late Lonnie Davis and Clarcie Bartlett Davis. She was seamstress and spent many years working for C M Clothing as well as being a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and friend. Ruth is survived by her husband, Hartford Fowler; three children; Jerry (LaDonna) Fowler, Mike (Kim) Fowler, and Mark (Deloris) Fowler all of Cookeville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Ryan Fowler, Makenzie Fowler, Breanna Fowler and Cameron Fowler all of Cookeville; four brothers, Paul (Nell) Davis of Nashville, Joe (Sharon) Davis of Murfreesboro, Bob (Joyce) Davis of Lebanon, Jerry (Linda) Davis of Christiana. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Cameron and Ryan Fowler, Steve Fisher, Bob, Joe and Jerry Davis. Brother Ralph Dunn will officiate the services.
