Roger Len Waites

Funeral Services for Roger Len Waites, age 57 of Cookeville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, February 16, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Waites died Monday, February 14, 2011 at his home. He was born January 2, 1954 in Cookeville to the late William Drexel Waites and Evelyn Rose Dillon Waites. Roger was also the past owner of Cookeville Cleaners and Laundry. Roger is survived by his wife Hailey Waites; his daughter Ashlea Waites and his son Scott Waites (Candice) both of Cookeville; two sisters Deboarh Williams (Horace) of Tampa FL and Donna Nighbert (Joe) of Atlanta; two brothers Bill Waites of Cookeville and Robert Waites (Gwen) of Algood. He is also survived by two grandchildren Ethan and Dagan Waites as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Waites was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Michael John Montgomery, Ricky Cartwright, Mike Plock, Donovan Waites, Jonathan Key, and Justin Long. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate at the service.
