Rodney Leo Marceaux Jr. “Buddy” 66, a long time resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, who now lived in Cookeville, Tennessee died on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving children and family. Buddy was an avid musician and guitar player who loved to play and write music with his friends and family. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working in his yard and garden. Buddy enjoyed playing and producing new music, playing on his guitar with his daughter Sherry on drums, and his friend Burt on guitar both singing to their music. Buddy was a loving father and grandfather, he loved and enjoyed his family and friends. He was full of life, and he loved life beyond words. He loved being retired and enjoyed many things, but one in particular, music and making music. Buddy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father, Rodney Leo Marceaux Sr. Of Patterson La; his children, Rodney L. Marceaux III, of Patterson LA, Timothy Lopez and wife Ashley from Amelia, LA, Adam Marceaux of Morgan City, LA Sherry Buehler and husband Brian of Cookeville TN, Angele Marceaux Minter, Zack Lopez and wife Prism of Pierrepart, LA and Andrew Marceaux of Morgan City, LA; brother in law, Tracy J. Vidos III of Morgan City, LA; 13 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Buddy was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Percle Marceaux; a grandchild, Albert M. Cruz (Dudda Butt); his in-laws, Tracy and Linda Vidos, and other family members. A private family gathering will be held at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.
