Robert D. Sullivan

Funeral Services for Robert Denton Sullivan, age 71 of Cookeville, will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Mr. Sullivan passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his home. He was born June 4, 1940 in Detroit MI to the late Robert V. Sullivan and Glenna Ford Sullivan. Robert retired from Ford Motor Company where he spent most of his working life as a welder. Robert is survived by his wife Eva Sullivan,two children; Robert D. Sullivan JR. of Cookeville TN and Eva Marie Tack of Madison Heights MI. In addition he is survived by two grandchildren; Bradley Tack and Austin Boyd; two brothers, James L. Sullivan of Baxter and Ray Sullivan of Fort Lauderdale FL; and a family friend, Ronna Gail Thornton. In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by a half brother, Bill West.
