Memorial services for Mr. Randal "Randy" Creg Tidwell, 51 of Baxter, will be held Thursday, September 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Buddy Johnson and Jann Cupp will officiate. Randy's family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. He died suddenly Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1966 in Knox County, TN to Grace "Jackie" Cawthron Tidwell and the late William ‘Bill' Donnell Tidwell. Randy worked in construction and was a long time employee of Reliable Builders. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Ronnie Tidwell and wife Juli of Madison, TN; and by special niece, Lora Hicks and husband Doug of Cookeville.
