Patricia Rae (Riley) Clark, age 84, of Cookeville, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. Patricia was born April 27, 1936 in Holly Grove, AK to the late John Sims Riley and Vallie Catherine (Ward) Riley. She grew up in Crossville, TN and graduated from Cumberland County High School. Upon graduation, she worked in the administrative offices at what is now Cumberland Medical Center. She married the love of her life, the late Edward Clark, in 1960. They moved to Miami, FL in 1970. They spent 35 years in Florida building an engineering business and raising their family. They were active in their church and enjoyed hosting many events in their home. After retiring, they moved to Cookeville, TN in 2004. They were members of Collegeside Church of Christ. They enjoyed music, books, exploring the countryside, and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by daughters Carolyn Fox and Janet (David) Chaney. She is the proud grandmother of five grandchildren, Luke (Laura) Fox, Zachary (Kassi) Fox, Andrew (Shannon) Chaney, Hannah (Daniel) Istvanko, and Rachel Fox, and four great-grandchildren Julia, Jorja, Logan, and Layla Fox. In addition to Edward and her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Joy Whilhite, Christine Bragg, James Riley, and Ernest Riley. Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 14, at Green Acres Memory Garden in Crossville. A celebration of life for friends and extended family will be held at a future date.
