Noah Troyer

Funeral services for Noah Troyer, 56, of Tulsa, Oklahoma will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Pilgrim Christian Fellowship, in the Muddy Pond Community of Overton County near Monterey, TN. Burial will follow in Weeks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the church. Noah spent the last ten days of his life in the home of his sister, Rosanna and brother-in-law Martin Horst, at Muddy Pond Community, where he received loving care from his family until his peaceful passing on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Noah had been suffering from cancer for about three years. Noah was born at Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA on January 12, 1956 to Jerry and Katie Troyer. Jerry Troyer passed away eleven years ago but his mother Katie is surviving. Noah was married to Laurette Jane Elizabeth (Simplis) Troyer on December 13, 1986 in Cayo District, Belize. Soon after being married, Noah was ordained to be a minister of the gospel. Noah owned a small tree trimming business and he and his wife were members of "The Family of the Prayer center Church"� in Tulsa. In addition to his wife and mother, Noah is survived by six brothers and seven sisters. His sisters are Lydia Garber of Avoca, NY with her husband, Eli, Rachel Cernava of Gustine, TX with her husband , Gary, Frannie Kropf, widow of Leonard of Ixiamas, Bolivia, Barbara Dindinger of Albania with her husband Philip, Mary Wilson, widow of Jeffrey of St. Charles, MO, Margie Troyer of St. Charles, MO, Rosanna Horst of Monterey, TN with her husband, Martin, Noah"�s brothers are Joseph Troyer of Holland, KY with his Susie, Moses Troyer of San Antonio, TX with his wife Ruth, Peter Troyer of Cayo District, Belize with his wife Estella (Peter was a twin to Noah), Daniel Troyer of Woodbury, TN with his wife Joy, Samuel Troyer of Gladys, VA with his wife Kathy, Jacob Troyer of Monterey, TN with his wife Christina. Noah is lovingly remembered by his family and friends as a man with simple steadfast faith.
