Memorial services for Mrs. Anne A. Garrison, age 96, Wind Lake, WI. & formally of Cookeville, TN. will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cookeville First Methodist Church located at 165 E. Broad Street. Mrs. Garrison passed on Monday, April 16, 2016. Anne was born in Smithfield, Ohio in 1920 and was a graduate of the Ohio Soldiers & Sailors Orphanage Home in Ohio. She married Hoyt H. Garrison and lived in Dayton, Ohio, then later retired to Cookeville, TN & lived there 10 years. She moved to Kansas when Hoyt died in 1994. & Mrs. Garrison relocated to Wind Lake, WI., where she resided the last 8 years of her life. Anne was also a volunteer with the Cookeville Regional Medical Center & also a volunteer with the Shawnee Mission, KS hospital. Anne & Hoyt were members of the First United Methodist Church in Cookeville. She worked as a beautician & also did accounting in department stores, played piano, sang, enjoyed sewing & playing cards. But most of all, she loved watching her great-grandkids in all their activities. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Hoyt Garrison. She is survived by her son; Richard Garrison from Las Vegas, NV & daughter, JoAnne Lowe (husband Brad) from Wind Lake, WI. Three grandchildren; Jessica (husband Charles) Pecaro; Courtney (husband Christopher) Murray & Brandon (wife Kate) Lowe. Nine great grandchildren: Frank, Anna, Joey, Evie, Carter, Connor, Dylan, Alissa & Brooke. Other survivors include two sisters-in-law, Dorisse Yokley & Mary Garrison of Cookeville.
