Minnie Throgmorton

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Isabelle Throgmorton 86 of Cookeville and formerly of Halls, Tennessee, will be held Saturday July 14, at 10 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev Max Mayo will officiate. Graveside services and interment will follow Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Gates Cemetery in Gates, TN with Rev. Randy Jetton officiting. Mrs. Throgmorton died Tuesday morning July 10, 2012 in Masters Health Care Center in Algood. She was born May 27, 1926 in Russellville, AR to the late John Elbert and Jessie Gypsy Wheeler Sleeker. She was a member of Hall"�s First United Methodist Church where she was a retired Administrative Assistant with over eighteen years of service. Since moving to Cookeville in 2005 she has been attending Cookeville First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Major Throgmorton; son, Adam Christopher Throgmorton; two sisters, Helen Wollhower and Margaret Couch; and brother, Robert Sleeker. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Randy Welnack of Royse, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Paul & LuAnn Throgmorton; grandson, Adam Throgmorton all of Cookeville. Mrs. Throgmorton"�s family will receive friends Friday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
