Mary Kate Roberts

Funeral services for Mary Kate Roberts, 95, of Gilbertsville, PA and formerly of Cookeville will be held Friday, June 24 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Saylors Cemetery in White County. Rev. Robert Spare will officiate. Mrs. Roberts"� family will receive friends Friday 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Roberts died Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Gilbertsville at her daughter"�s home. She was born June 24, 1915 in White County, TN to the late Samuel and Lovvie Floyd Goodwin. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Cookeville First Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Roberts, three sisters, Hallie Sullivan, Rowena Ray and Martha Adkins, three brothers, Clyde Goodwin, Lee Goodwin and Herbert Goodwin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Robert Spare of Gilbertsville; two grandchildren, Robert "Robby"� and Becca Spare, Jr. and Lydia Spare, three great grandchildren, Robert J. Spare III, Andrew Spare and Caleb Spare. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Roberts family suggest memorials be made to the Music Ministry at Limerick Chapel, 378 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 19468.
