Mary Choate

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Choate, 80, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday July 10 at 11 am in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Arms officiating. Interment will follow in the Bolestown Cemetery in Pickett County. Mrs. Choate died Sunday morning July 8, 2012 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1932 in the Moodyville Community of Pickett to the late Paris Denton and Hessie Davidson Manis. She was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ransom Ira Choate (died December 1, 2011); sister, Judy Williams; and two brothers, Willie Manis and Jay Manis. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Sandy Choate of Tucker, GA; granddaughter, Stephaine Choate of Athens, GA; and sister, Stella West of Mt. Juliet. Mrs. Choate"�s family will receive friends Monday from 6 pm until 8 pm and Tuesday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
