Margaret Ferguson

Graveside Services for Margaret Ruby Lorraine Ferguson, 86, of Livonia, MI and formerly of Cookeville will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Paran Cemetery in Overton County, TN. Visitation will be at the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home on Five Mile Road in Livonia Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 2:00, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Ferguson died Sunday July 31, 2011. She was the youngest of ten siblings, born on April 4, 1925 to Peter and Amanda Anderson. Margaret had been a resident of the Oakland Assisted Living Home for the past three years. She was the widow of the late Lt. Colonel William G. Ferguson. They were long time residents of Livonia, MI. Margaret and Bill enjoyed 41 years of marriage until his death in 1999. She was a hairdresser for many years in the Detroit area and was still actively working at the Waltonwood Retirement Home until her retirement at the age of 80. Margaret had been attended to by her loving sister-in-law, Jean Ferguson Lovejoy, her niece Candy Phillips, and her nephew, Danny Campbell, who all lived by her and had been closely connected to her all of their lives. Margaret is survived by several nephews and nieces.
