A Memorial Services for Lynda Sue Hamman, age 57, of Rickman, will be held October 3, 2010 at the Tea Room of Standing Stone State Park, noon until 9:00 p.m. Ms. Hamman passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at The Bridge at Monteagle . She was born August 27, 1952 in Dayton OH to the late Clyde L. Powell and Fannie M. Edwards Powell. Ms. Hamman was an accountant and had been employed by Wright State University in Dayton OH. She had lived in the Cookeville area for the last 15 years. Lynda’s family includes two sons and daughters-in law; Mike and Angie Hardin of Livingston TN and Chris and Tracy Hardin of Dayton; Four granddaughters; Kayla, Ambra, Avery and Addison Hardin; and one sister and brother-in –law, Brenda and David Bohannon. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews; Gina, Scott, Chrystal, Jeramy, April and their families as well as six aunts; Opal, Bonnie, Sudie, Berniece, Big Betty and Little Betty, and four uncles, Luther, Lester, Charlie, Jack and several cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Hamman, a brother, Clyde Powell Jr., an infant sister Dianna Powell, and a granddaughter, Bryanna Hardin. The family would like to express their gratitude to all their family and friends who loved and prayed for her. A special “thank you” to The Bridge for all their love and care and to Pastor Steve and his wife.
