Lucille Crouch

A Celebration of Life service for Margaret Lucille Elder Crouch, 93, of Cookeville will be held at her home at 1510 E. Bilbrey Park Dr. on Sunday June 24 at 4:30 p.m. Her family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. at the home. Mrs. Crouch died Friday, June 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1918 in Byrdstown, TN to the late John and Sarah Hassler Elder. Mrs. Crouch was a member of First Baptist Church of Cookeville and was a retired local business woman. She was co-owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics for many years. She is survived by a sister, Mildred Davidson of Cookeville; sister-in-law, Elaine Elder of Byrdstown; brother-in-law, Bethel Crouch and wife Jenny of Cookeville; four nieces, Gwen Morris and husband Richard of Byrdstown, Cheryl Elder of Nashville; Marilynn Bayne and husband Bill of Memphis; and Brenda Dorsey and husband, Bill of Shelton WA. She is also survived by three nephews, Fred Elder and wife Diane and Doug Elder and wife Rhonda all of Byrdstown; Roger Elder and wife Sandra of Maryville and several great nieces and great nephews and a host of other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elmwood Cemetery, 824 S. Dudley, Memphis, TN 38104; Lovelady-Sims Cemetery, Byrdstown, TN 38549 or a favorite charity of your choice in her memory.
