Lisa Louise Truitt

COOKEVILLE - Lisa L Truitt, age 55, of Cookeville TN departed from this life on Friday, June 7,2024. She was born March 2, 1969 in Newark NJ to Louis & Patricia Williams.

She was a very special person who was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She was a creative and culinary spirit, who enjoyed making hand decorated sugar cookies, cakes, and dishes of different kinds. She also enjoyed playing Scrabble with friends and family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (GiGi). She leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Rodney V Truitt Sr. Two sons, Rodney V Truitt Jr (special daughter in law, Sheila Truitt) of Cookeville TN and Gregory M Truitt of Fredricksburg VA. Two grandsons, Rodney V Truitt III and Emerson M Truitt. Her parents, Louis & Patricia Williams of East Orange NJ. A sister, Lakeshia Williams of East Orange NJ. Two brothers, Louis Williams II of Charlotte NC, and Chad Williams (and wife Ebony) of Cary NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

She was a faithful member of First Church, Cookeville TN, where she was a preschool Sunday School Teacher, Temple Keeper, Greeter, Worshipper, and Prayer Warrior.

She will be deeply missed.
