KIMBERLY JOHNSON
SILVER POINT, TN-Kimberly Dawn Johnson, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.. Born on May 14, 1968, in Nashville, Tennessee, Kim lived a happy and carefree life. Her frequent smiles and infectious energy endeared her to her family and friends.
Kim enjoyed traveling and cooking. Family get-togethers were particularly special for Kim, as they were a time for her to express her love and spend quality time with the people who meant the most to her.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Johnson and Joyce Johnson, and her sister, Trina Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Donovan (Kristen) Waller, and her grandchildren, Jaylen, Jasmin, Malachi, Jerusalem, Quinton, and Treasure. Kim also leaves behind her brothers and sisters, Sandra Ann Smith (Vincent), Jay W. (Ramona) Johnson Jr., Rita Johnson, Debra Lynn (Fred) Moore, Ricky Darryl Johnson, Danita Bassetti Moore (Pablo), Steven Dwayne Johnson (Tina), Marc Kendall Johnson, and Shawn O. Johnson. Her cousins, Linda Cartwright, Patsy Gist, Judy Cullom, Cathy Johnson, and Sheveka Douglas, will also remember her fondly.
Kim's life was a testament to the power of love and generosity. Her kind spirit and warm heart touched everyone she met. She was a loving mother, a doting grandmother, a caring sister, and a wonderful friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In her passing, the world has lost a beautiful soul. But Kim's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be remembered not just for the things she did, but for the way she made people feel - loved, cherished, and important.
Kimberly Dawn Johnson's life was a beautiful journey, filled with love, laughter, and countless unforgettable moments. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life - a life well-lived, a life that touched so many, a life that will continue to shine in our hearts.
A graveside celebration of life service is being planned to be held at a later date.
