Funeral services for Mrs. Judith "Judy"� Faye Dyer West, 72 of Cookeville and a former long-time resident of Robbins, TN, will be held Friday August 3 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Rev. John Slater will officiate. Mrs. West"�s family will receive friends Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. (E.S.T.) at West-Murley Funeral Home in Oneida with an Eastern Star Memorial service at 7 p.m. Her family will receive friends in Cookeville Friday from 9 a.m. (C.S.T.) until service time at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mrs. West died Monday morning July 30, 2012 in NHC of Cookeville. She was born August 18, 1939 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Joseph Franklin and Nell B Gentry Dyer Sr. She was a 1958 graduate of Cookeville High School; a homemaker; a member of Barton"�s Chapel Congregational Church in Robbins; and attended Robbins United Methodist Church. She was active with several Eastern Star Chapters in Tennessee and Kentucky. She had dual membership and was Past Worthy Matron of both the Robbins Sunshine Eastern Star Chapter #279 and the Stearns Laurel Heights Eastern Star Chapter #288. She was an honorary member of both the Sapphire Eastern Star Chapter in Oneida and the Sunbright Eastern Star Chapter #303. She was known by family and friends for her love of photography and being an avid Tennessee Lady Vols Fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Vensaint West (who died May 27, 2011). Survivors include four brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe & Hae Dyer, Charles & Emogene Dyer, Gary & Sharon Dyer, and Bill & Pam Dyer all of Cookeville; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Dyer, Patrick Dyer, Frank Dyer, Chris Dyer, Eric Dyer, Rusby Titsworth, Tim Harrison, Jason Coleman and Patrick Hester.
