Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie (Jimmie) Clouse, 93, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 pm Saturday, July 6, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown"�s Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Clouse died Wednesday afternoon July 3, 2013 at Kindred Health Care Center-Master in Algood, TN. She was born February 20, 1920 in Putnam County to the late Chester Herman and Lily Mai LaFever Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Clouse; son, Ronnie Clouse; three sisters, Elizabeth Sliger, Bertie Leach, and Nancy Minnear; and grandson, Thomas Clouse. Mrs. Clouse was a member on Caney Fork Baptist Church. She was retired from the Cookeville Shirt Factory and was a former volunteer at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Barbara Clouse of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Jonathon Clouse and wife Jamie of Sparta, also Angie Whitaker and husband Brian of Hendersonville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Eli, Seth, and Nathan Whitaker, and Lauren Clouse. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Caney Fork Baptist Church Building Fund 2396 Hwy 70 E, Cookeville, TN 38506.
