Jerry Reeves

Funeral services for Jerry Richard Reeves, 66, of Baxter, will be held at 1 pm Friday, September 28, at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Beaty officiating. Interment will follow at the Browns Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Reeves died suddenly Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his home. He was born September 17, 1946 in Nashville, TN to the late James Richard Reeves and Ola Corrine Cofer Reeves. Mr. Reeves was a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paunie Williams Reeves, and sister, Sandra Hamn. He is survived by a son, Billy Reeves of Cookeville; three brothers, James Reeves and wife Judy of Lebannon, TN, John Reeves of Lebannon, and David Reeves of Clarksville; two sisters, Judy Minchey and husband Gary of Mt. Juliet, and Shirley Warner of Louisville, KY; and one grandchild, Christy Blankenship and husband Daniel of Sparta. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
