James Patterson

Mr. James Michael Patterson, age 78 of Cookeville and former longtime resident of Cookeville, died Friday February 23, 2024 at his residence.

He was born September 13, 1945 in Louisville, KY to the late Marvin Walter Patterson and Frances Cornelia Nunn Patterson.

Mr. Patterson joined W&O Construction in Livingston alongside Louis Oakley in the late 1970s. He was very active in his community. He attended the First United Methodist Church.

James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Becky Oakley Patterson; daughter, Kim (Jo) Judd of Lexington; Ky; son, James (Candace) Patterson, II, of Smyrna, TN He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
