James Floyd Eldridge

Funeral services for James Floyd Eldridge, age 83, of Cookeville will be Monday, February 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Morgan-Pippin Cemetery. Mr. Eldridge passed away February 22, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. James was born August 7, 1929 in Cookeville, TN. to the late James E. Eldridge and Sallie Mae Goodwin Eldridge. Mr. Eldridge is survived by his daughter; Diana (Gregory) Greene of Memphis TN, two sisters; Mattie Jo Hickey and Doris Kathleen Whitaker of Cookeville,one sister-in-law; kathleen Ragland of Cookeville. three grandchildren; Toni Gayle Wilkes, Ahndria Dianne (Brad) Hoover of Horn Lake MS. and Bryan (Alanna) Henderson Greene of China, five great- grandchildren; Nicholas Hoover, Courtney Wilkes, Abigale Greene, James Wilkes and Jonathon Hoover. Mr. Eldridge is also survived by a host of friends and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his wife; Oneida Juanita Eldridge, two sisters; Ella Marie Eldridge and Mary Frances Eldridge and a granddaughter; Kelly Kristen Greene. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate the service.
