Ina Gentry

Funeral services for Ina Victoria Gentry, 96, of Cookeville will be held Friday November 18 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. Dr. Charles McCaskey and Rev. Perryn Rice will officiate. Mrs. Gentry died Saturday November 12, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Gentry was born February 6, 1915 in Cookeville to the late Willis Daniel and Sallie Elizabeth Gentry Langford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was an enthusiastic member of the Old Walton Road DAR Chapter since joining on April 18, 1998. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Carl "�Odell"� Gentry; a daughter Martha Ann Gentry; three brothers, Harley Ralph Langford, Howard Clinton Langford, Harold Daniel Langford; and two sisters, Ivery Lee Langford and Margaret Irene Redden . Mrs. Gentry is survived by two daughters, Myrna Sue Nettleton and her husband Rev. Jerry Nettleton of Cookeville and Mary Beth Patton and her husband Keith Patton, Sr. of Poolesville, MD; four grandchildren, Nancy Ann Murphy, Paul Nettleton, Keith Patton, Jr. (Audrey), and Carl Patton (Amy); and nine great grandchildren . Family members will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Gentry"�s family will receive friends Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
