Glinda Joyce Webster

Funeral Services for Glinda Joyce Webster, age 66, of Cookeville, will be Tuesday evening, January 15, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 15 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service and then again following the service. Burial will be Wednesday morning, January 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove Community. Ms. Webster was born September 2, 1946 in Jackson County TN to the late Haskell & Anna Haney Mayberry. Glinda was a homemaker and is survived by four children; Linda (Jerry) Austin of Cookeville, Ava Carter of Cookeville, Angela Sherfield (Chris) of Smithville, and James Webster (Gina) of Manchester. She is also survived by one brother George (Maxine) Mayberry of Buffalo Valley and eight grandchildren; Steven (Jessica) Austin of Sparta, Jeremy & Shyanne Austin both of Cookeville, Devery Kirkman of KY, Tamra & Anthony Sherfield both of Smithville, Tyson Hale of Baxter and Kandice Webster. Glinda is also survived by four great grandchildren; Abigale Austin, Emma Kirkman, Brandon & Katie Webster and a Life Partner of 23 years, Billy Brock of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, Glinda was preceded in death by her husband James Webster, and three brothers; Arp, Louis and Charles Mayberry. Bro. Ken Haney will conduct the services.
