Funeral services for Miss Geneva Coffman, 75 of Cookeville will be held Saturday May 12 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Hope Community Church Cemetery in Jackson County. Rev. Howard Dailey and Rev. Mike Ayers will officiate. Geneva's family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Geneva died Friday morning May 11, 2018 in Standing Stone Care and Rehab Center in Monterey. She was born Saturday March 6, 1943 in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late Lester B. and Ruby Jewell Johnson Coffman. Geneva was of the Protestant Faith and loved the Lord. She loved people and found true contentment in life, never complaining about anything. She loved puzzles and had a vast collection of baby dolls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Harold Coffman, Junior Ray Coffman and Baby Boy Coffman. Survivors include her brother, Kenneth (Gladys) Coffman of Hilham; two sisters, Thelma (Rev. Howard) Dailey of Rickman, and Annette (Bob) Cassett of Cookeville; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Jackie, and Jason Coffman; Tina Ayers, Bruce Dailey, Lonnie Dailey, Steven Warren, Candace Smith; and a host of other family members who loved her dearly. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Geneva's family wishes to extend a special thank-you to management, staff, and employees at Standing Stone Care and Rehab for their excellent care.
