Mr. Everett Macke Jr., 85 of Cookeville died Saturday evening July 2, 2011 at the home of his son in Lebanon, TN. Graveside Masonic Services and Interment will be Thursday July 7 at 12 noon at Marshall City Cemetery in Marshall, IL. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. He was born May 20, 1926 in Marshall, Illinois to the late Everett Wesley and Ruth Hebe Fawley Macke. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Following his military career he enrolled in Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN and in 1951 received his BS Degree in Accounting. He spent his working career in Sales/Management for Industrial Supplies. He had retired from Graft/Pelle Company in Louisville, KY. He was a 57 year member of Marshall Masonic Lodge #133 F&AM; the Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite; and the Kosair Shrine Temple in Louisville, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jane Claypool Macke; daughter, Sandra Lynn Macke; brother, Charles Macke; and sister, Jane Stegnach. Survivors include his four sons and three daughters-in-law, Michael D & Lynn Macke of Indianapolis, IN, Bill & Lisa Macke of Lebanon, TN, Charlie & Karen, and Greg Macke all of Cookeville; eleven grandchildren, Chris Macke, Scott Macke, Adam (Desiree) Macke, Hannah Macke, Jamie (Aaron) Bever, Mary Ann (John) Cole, Bobby Macke, Sarah Macke, Liam Macke, Andy Macke and Tori Macke, a great granddaughter, Ryeese Macke; and two sisters, Betty Young of Tampa, FL, and Louise Heimer of Greenwood, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care Fund at CRMC Foundation, One Medical Center Blvd., Cookeville, TN 38501
