Elise Moles

Funeral services for Ollie Elise Moles, age 96 of Cookeville, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday February 13 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. David and Mike Netherton officiated. Entombment followed at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Social distancing and the use of masks were appreciated. Elise passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1924 in Overton County, TN to the late George Martin and Ollie Mae Langford Loftis. Elise was a member of Hilham Road Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Ron (Jane) Moles of Dawsonville, GA; brothers, Aaron Paul Loftis of Cookeville, and Howard (Lynn) Loftis of Overton Co., grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Netherton, and Stacey (Craig) Eggleton; and great grandchildren, David, Suzanna, Abigail, Lydia, Cole, and Alex. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Moles; daughter, Brenda Netherton; sister, Edith Christine Loftis; and sister-in-law, Vera Loftis.
