Memorial services for Mrs. Eleanor Louise Szczechowicz, age 78, of Cookeville, will be held Sunday March 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Cookeville. Family will receive friends immediately following the services. Eleanor died Wednesday February 28, 2018 at NHC Healthcare Cookeville. She was born September 4, 1939 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late George and Jessie Roberts. Eleanor was a loving sister, wife and mother. She especially enjoyed time spent with family at the cottage built by her husband on the Muskegon River. She was an associate of Meijer Department Store for 15 years working in the deli department. Having been a lifelong resident of Michigan, she moved to Cookeville, TN where she has resided since 2003. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert J. Szczechowicz; and by brother, George Roberts. She is survived by daughters and sons in law, Elizabeth Louise and Thomas William Mack of Rickman and Victoria Christina and Wayne Irvin Bowles; son and daughter in law, Robert Bruce and Deborah Szczechowicz, all of Cookeville; grandchildren, Tiffany Rachel, Brandon Lee Mack, Keelie Alina Mack, Alec Cole Szczechowicz and Austin Reed Szczechowicz; and by great grandchildren, Tiffany Amanda Tilkins, William Michael Tilkens, Colton James Feldman, Mason Blake Feldman and Charles Raymond Tilkins.
