Memorial services for Dustin Hunter Pegram, age 21 of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday February 11 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Fr. Joe Weatherly will officiate. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home and again Friday from 10 a.m. until service time. Dusty passed away Friday February 4, 2022 at his home. He was born September 19, 2000 in Nashville, TN to Eric and Lynnette Hunter Pegram of Cookeville. Dusty was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church. He was a student in the School of Music at Tennessee Tech University. He was a talented pianist and member of the jazz ensemble, Troubadours and Trouveres. Dusty also was a history buff. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Monica Pegram; paternal grandmother, Elaine Pegram Freeman and her husband Bob, maternal grandmother, Della Hunter; and half sister, Elizabeth Huddleston. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dr. Wayne Pegram; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Hunter.
