CHARLES GLEN STEWART BAXTER-Funeral services for Charles Glen Stewart, 86 of Baxter, will be Saturday, August 4 at 3 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Stewart died Monday, July 30, 2018 at NHC of Cookeville. He was born FridayJuly 27, 1932 in Overton County, TN to the late John Pleasant and Ella Veachel Franklin Stewart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death first wife Anna Ruth Lee Stewart, son Danny Stewart, infant daughter Jennifer Beth Stewart, a sister-in-law Wanda Smellage Stewart and a brother-in-law Willard Boles. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired press operator with Teledyne-Stillman of Cookeville. Survivors include wife Doris "Dot" McHood Stewart of Baxter, sons Earl (Pam) Stewart of Baxter, Robert (Teresa) Stewart of Cookeville, daughter Amy (Michael) Fox of Baxter, sister Jane Boles of Cookeville, brothers Albert Stewart of Fortville, Indiana, Morgan (Patricia) Stewart of Cookeville, grandchildren: Corey Stewart, Kayla Stewart, Amanda Stewart, Tiffany Coffee, Daniel Poston and Samantha Fox, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Bro. Jerry Blair will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 PM and after 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
