Brian Van Galder

A celebration of life gathering for Mr. Brian David Van Galder, age 42 of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, November 30th from 2pm until 5pm at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Mr. Van Galder died peacefully Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

He was born September 26, 1980 in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Brian's family moved to Cookeville when he was two-years-old. He was a 1999 graduate of Cookeville High School. He was employed at various jobs in Cookeville and the Nashville area and most recently at Texas Roadhouse in Cookeville. He had a strong work ethic throughout his life. He enjoyed listening to music. He will be remembered for his kind, loving, friendly and outgoing nature.

In addition to his parents, Michael and Karen Van Galder (Hermitage, TN), Brian is survived by daughter, Kyra Van Galder (Madison, TN) and son, Colsyn Van Galder (Old Hickory, TN).
