Billy Medley

Billy Donaho Medley, age 78, of Baxter, passed away into heaven Monday evening February 10, 2020 at his home. He was born May 16, 1941 in Silver Point, TN to the late Doss and Edna Whitehead Medley. Billy was a salesman by trade. He enjoyed family, gardening, walking, and talking to people. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Zella Louise Potter Medley, whom he married November 16, 1963 in Trenton, GA; four sisters, Martha Medley Bruce Bryant of Baxter, Jewel Medley Martin of Allons, TN, Rachel Medley Schmidt of Canton, IL, and Jessie Medley Brewington Countryman of Cookeville; one brother, Omer Medley (wife, Patty) of Villa Rica, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Roland Dean Medley; sister, Tavia Medley Sexton; and brother, Eddie Hubert Medley. Billy requested cremation and no services are planned. His cremated remains will be interred at Carlen Cemetery.
