Funeral services for Bert Maddux Lowe, 88, of Huntsville, Alabama formerly of Baxter, TN, will be Wednesday, December 16 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. The family will receive friends Wednesday after 11 AM at the funeral home until service time. Harold Ralph Maynard will officiate. Mrs. Lowe passed away peacefully on Friday evening, December 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family in Huntsville. She was born April 28, 1932 in Baxter, TN to the late Ridley Fain and Maude Marcum Maddux. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Estel Gore Lowe on July 17, 2014, two sons Danny Lowe and Ricky Lowe, one grandson Christopher Lowe, two sisters Ruby Shores and Juanita Dyal, a brother Floyd Maddux and a nephew Delton Dyal. She was a homemaker and seamstress, she enjoyed making draperies. Mrs. Lowe is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Bruce Rogers of Madison, Alabama, daughter-in-law Shelby Lowe of Huntsville, Alabama, two grandsons Craig and Jessica Lowe of Tallahassee, FL, Jeremy and Sharon Rogers of Madison, Alabama, two granddaughters Priscilla and Greg Ricksecker of Sebastopol, California and Jamie Rogers of Madison, Alabama, two sisters and brother-in-laws Betty and Ralph Medley of Baxter, Mary Ann and Van Medlock of Cookeville, one great-grandson Collin Lowe of Tallahassee, Fl, nieces Sharon Robinson, Carolyn Maxwell, Linda Lafever and Cindy Moore.
