Annie Evelyn Smith

Mrs. Annie Evelyn Smith, age 83 of Cookeville, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Smith was born September 6, 1928 in Miami Florida to the late Sheldon Sheridan and Loyola Marie Woods Sheridan. Before moving to Cookeville, Mrs. Annie worked for and retired from the State of Florida in the healthcare field. She loved middle TN, her church family and enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and her pets. No services have been planned at this time, and the family has chosen Cremation. Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters; Sharon Bobst (husband Arthur) and Loyola Corriston, both of Cookeville as well as three brothers; Charles Sheridan (wife Becky) of Pennsylvania, Van Sheridan (wife Faye) and Alonza Sheridan (wife Joan) both of Florida. Ms. Annie is also survived by three grandchildren; Bruce Bobst (Sandy) and Tammy Bobst (Randy) both of Knoxville and Christopher Corriston (wife Jennifer) of Florida; and two great grandchildren, Kaley and Jason Truesdale. Ms. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lois Smith, two brothers, Ronald Sheridan and Sheldon Sheridan Jr., as well as one sister, Jean Cody. Pastor Roger Cooper will be honoring Mrs. Annie's Life at One Eleven Fellowship on Sunday, April 15, 2012.
