Memorial services for Laura Anita Robbins, 91 of Cookeville will be Saturday, August 6 at 4 P.M. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with Chaplain Chuck Overton officiating. Mrs. Robbins died Friday evening, July 29, 2011 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 18, 1920 in Monterey, Tn. to the late Chester and Ena Milligan Matheny. She was a retired sales clerk with Mrs. Bilbrey"�s Dress Shop. Survivors include husband of 56 years Charlie G. Robbins (whom she married April 9, 1955); daughter Mary Sue Bruce of Louisville, Tn., two grandaughters: Leann Hicks of Louisville, TN and Mary Jo Willocks of Maryville, TN, two great-grandchildren: Chad Hicks and Beth Hicks, two brothers & sisters-in-law Bernard & Billie Matheny of Donelson, Herbert & Betty Matheny of Jacksonville, Fl., brother & sisters-in-law Billy & June Robbins, Bennie Ruth Robbins, nieces: Beth Ann Stevens and Becky Clark, nephews: Billy Wilborn and Bobby Wilborn, Jimmy Robbins and Rusty Robbins, special friend Carla Phillips. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M. at the funeral home.
